What is collected
Only what you type into the contact form:
- your name
- your email address
- the message you write
Nothing else is collected. There is no account, no newsletter, and no profiling or automated decision making.
Why, and on what legal basis
Your details are used for one thing: to read and answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and where that does not apply, the legitimate interest in Article 6(1)(f) of replying to someone who has contacted the business.
Who else sees it
Two services handle the message on its way to me:
- Web3Forms delivers the form submission to my inbox.
- Google (Gmail) hosts the inbox where it arrives.
Your details are never sold, never used for advertising, and never passed to anyone else.
How long it is kept
Until the enquiry is dealt with, then deleted. If we go on to work together, the correspondence is kept for as long as the business relationship lasts and for as long as Finnish accounting law requires records to be retained.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. It does not use local storage, tracking pixels, advertising networks, or embedded third-party content. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you were not shown a cookie banner.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to:
- see what data is held about you
- have it corrected
- have it deleted
- restrict or object to how it is used
- receive it in a portable format
Email daniel.net.services@gmail.com and it will be handled without charge, normally within a month.
If you are not happy with the response, you can complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto), tietosuoja.fi.
